good news all year round

(1) The creator of this blog skin (that you are looking at now!!), Moon has given birth to a lovely & handsome baby Caleb last night. Please make arrangements with Reigi ASAP to visit her at Thomson Medical :) WONDERFUL!

(2) We had our last CGM at Garvin's Bishan property the past Friday. The CGMs in future will be at his Tanjong Pagar property. More details will be released during these 2 weeks. We are right now in the marketplace as a cellgroup 'cuz Tanjong Pagar has recently been marked by the government to be developed as the new waterfront city after Marina Bay. AWESOME!

Enjoy a lovely week with your friends, family and
lovable ones!

priority seats

This is by Engchang. He mass-sent this in SMS. Something about a revelation is that God can speak to us anytime, even in the wee hours of the night. Here's the sms:

Dear N391, all of you are probably asleep right now. But I have a
revelation that I really have to share. A few sundays ago, while we were in a
train after service, Garvin and I were talking about the priority seats in the
mrt train.

In a nutshell, we both agreed that each seat should be a 'priority seat'.
Why should only those at the sides have the label? Why should some be obliged to
give up their seats to those who need them? Everyone seating should be obliged
to do that, isn't it?

Today God reminded me of this conversation that I had with Garvin. The
seats symbolise salvation and those seating down symbolise us, Christngdom.
Sharing ce of God have a place in His kingdom. Sharing or giving up seats
symbolises reaching out. Similarily, not just those sitting on the priority
seats. Reaching is out for everyone.

Matt 28: 19-20

And in this context, not hyst the old, pregnant or young need the seat.
Everyone does. Everyone that walked through that mrt door. Everyone who walked
into your life. Life is a journey like a train. Every stop have new people
coming into our lives.

songsheets in 2009

Greetings to readers who bother to check out this blog! If you are a member in this place, here are the color versions of the songsheets in 2009! That is, If you ever wondered about it too... Unlikely lah actually LOL
Now is 2010 and we are looking forward to our Chorus Board plan coming to pass!

Happy New Year!

Special edition with birthday greetings for Reigi. CGM was held in the early morning at 10am!

The first time songsheet was ever printed in color. 11 copies of it. The person who printed it rich what. Hahahahaha

Victorian style...if you realize it
Too dark, you dont think so meh? Combined cellgroup meeting with Santy's cellgroup
Getting big on Japan

Thinking that our Japanese guests will come..Yoshi & Yuko...-.-

The failure of trying to blend two gradient bars together. Blame it on lazy bones..

This was the ugliest songsheet ever. NEVER again had I did it in this way because at that time I did it (1) in a bad mood (2) rushed for time.

What's that? 9 or 7? 9 la Ravi. Then Ravi laughed and said the '9' looks like '7'.

Reigi expressed her liking for this because she says it has the rainbow thing which she simply adore.

Garvin was full of praise for this when I sent it to him for approval. What's all that heart shapse about? Well I felt like I was in love that time? Haha.

Before I discovered this wonderful website with awesome fonts: These are the less-than-awesome songsheets with boring fonts that come with our Microsoft programmes.

This never got printed out this way because the person thought the words cant be seen and he changed the settings. In the end the hard copy was really awful. Not awesome. I shall spare mentioning that person's name 'cuz he wasnt a fan of Twilight like most of our guys are already not. Hahaha.

Karwen used the bible verse on it during prophecy time. Thank my elephant memory.

Tried taking the cutesy inspiration. This wasnt encouraged :(
That was an album cover but I guess I'd pulled it off successfully.
First attempt: AMATEURISH. (Come on, we all grow right?! Haha).

The past November we had our blast of Japanese/ Cooking/ Guitar classes. Hopefully you have really learnt something valuable and put them to use! Be it using Japanese to wow people, or your newfound-or-refreshed culinary skills to tickle our taste buds, strumming the chords to win girls over, may all these add value to your life!

We had our finale for the camp the past Friday. It was themed the hat party. All of us were game as we all bought our head gear. Haha. Very good! Those who didnt managed to attend the camp formed Team Nameless, as aptly coined by Jon or Weiwen (forgot who lah). This is our Subzone picture.
Of course ourselves as a lovely cellgroup. Love each other k.

Nutella spread of love

Last week this is part of our refreshments, lovingly provided by Chang Chang Chang.
Jay the Domo fanatic made this for the connect group leaders while we had our meeting in the Holy of the Holies with our most beloved cellgroup leader Garvin.

And oh yes, Jay credited part of this cuteness spread of Nutella to Anna because he told me that Anna helped to put the dried cranberries to be the hair...or maybe eyebrows-that-are-joined.

Please pay cellgroup fund :)
